Conversational Evangelism Conference

March 9-10, 2007
Rock Harbor Church
Costa Mesa, California

How do you start a conversation that ends in faith?
Most churches tend to talk first and ask questions later. But when we listen to the culture, we open new doors to faith. This is what cultural pioneers within the church have been doing over the past few years, and now some of these pioneers are partnering together to teach our churches what they have learned.

Lee Strobel (Inside the Mind of Unchurched Harry and Mary, The Case for Christ and The Case for Faith), Mark Mittelberg (Becoming a Contagious Christian and Building a Contagious Church), Rebecca Pippert (Out of the Salt Shaker, “Seeker Bible Studies”), Gary Poole (Seeker Small Groups), and Todd Hunter, National Director of Alpha USA (the Alpha Course), are joining together to present a training conference on the crucial role of conversational evangelism in contemporary culture. Todd Hunter recalls, “I remember the first call we had together a number of months ago. As we were dreaming of what could be if we all worked together, Becky said, ‘Wow; this is so great; it is so rare that ministries will put down their competition to work together for great good of the Kingdom and the body of Christ.’” In addition, Brenton Brown, featured worship leader on several Vineyard Music UK albums, will lead worship.

Fuller Seminary, Southern California Extension, is joining in this spirit of Kingdom cooperation by partnering with these ministries to support and promote the Conversational Evangelism Conference March 9 and 10 at Rock Harbor Church, Costa Mesa, Calif.
