Connection to the Past
Cornerstone maintains a positive connection to the
historic missional roots of American Baptist Churches
USA (ABCUSA).Your church may be leaving the ABCUSA,
staying in ABCUSA or coming from another direction
– but Cornerstone is your next step. The process
of affiliation with Cornerstone Church Network will
be initiated by churches, regions and other entities,
not by Cornerstone. Churches that are currently
affiliated with the ABCUSA will self-determine their
membership in Cornerstone; those currently in American Baptist Evangelicals (ABE) will be "grandfathered" in for 2006.. Cornerstone also welcomes
affiliates from other like-minded denominational
or nondenominational churches.
